The NYC Department of Education chose the Move ‘N Groove Kids series to include in its welcome package to all new Pre-K teachers being added to NYC schools for the Universal Pre-K program.

The DOE chose Move N’ Groove Kids for its Pre-K teachers not for use in the classrom but for inspiring them to build creative movement curriculum’s for their kids based on the MNGK programs.

We’re looking forward to hearing great things from these teachers and kids in the year to come!

The Arlington Virginia Library system chose Move ‘N Groove kids to be their creative movement video of choice to run during their summer “Shake your Tales” series each Friday @ 1:30pm and the central branch.  So if you’re in the Arlington VA area this summer on a Friday, swing by the central branch for the “Shake your tales” series and enjoy one of our Move ‘N Groove videos with a crowd!

Tip #8: You Know You Can Dance Can the inhibition, crank up the music and shake, bounce and move it. Pick a style, fake it or make one up. And yes, air guitar counts. The beauty of dance, says Yale’s Katz, is that it often appeals to kids who say no to conventional exercise.

FACT: Dancing 15 minutes a day can trim 10 pounds in a year.
